What is the difference between Private Plans and Marketplace/ACA Plans?

Private Health Insurance: Plans offered outside the ACA Marketplace that can provide more flexibility, access to PPO networks, and competitive rates.

Marketplace/ACA: Government-regulated plans that cover pre-existing conditions and may offer premium subsidies based on household income.

Can I change my health insurance plan mid-year?

Private health insurance is available year-round for those who qualify. ACA Marketplace plans are generally limited to Open Enrollment, unless you experience a qualifying life event such as marriage, the birth of a child, or loss of coverage.
